Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation  ( JE )  is currently coordinating with Jordan Loan Guarantee Corporation (JLGC) in  organizing the  activities of the semi - annual meeting for Prague club during the period  17th - May 22nd, 2008 in the dead sea area ,  which  will be  attended by some of  experts from the national  loan guarantee associations which had joined the club  in order to exchange their opinions,  knowledge  & experiences in addition  to get them alert  for the  economic growth  in Jordan & the openness to the world  under the leadership of his Majesty king Abdullah the Second , as well as seeking to achieve  the   sustainable development in Jordan through  identify these  programs which  provide needed guarantees for small and medium enterprises  to enable them  obtaining  financing from the commercial banks.

At the European Training Foundation ETF, Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation attend the third annual forum of the MEDA-ETE regional project in Turin – Italy on 14-15 April 2008, the invitation to submit a presentation on “The way forward on the implementation of the Euro Med Charter for Enterprise”. The objective of the meeting was to review the achievements and the outputs of the MEDA-ETE project in 2007 and to discuss the activities and implementation models of the annual work plan 2008, in addition to dissemination of good practices in the area of technical and vocational education and training.

Under the umbrella of JE and UNIDO, the first EDP Training Course “Entrepreneurship Development Programme” was organized from 30^th March till 10^th April 2008 in the Arab Open University premises. The program aims at enabling Entrepreneurs to identify successful opportunities and to implement those investment opportunities. The program will help entrepreneurs to discover and develop their own competencies, translate their own ideas into productive business activities, evaluate their business ideas and select the promising ones, do a feasibility study and prepare a business plan, and identify the suitable financial resources.

 

Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation attended the Charter Coordinators Meeting on 16^th April 2008 and the Working Party Meeting on Euro-Mediterranean Industry Cooperation on 17-18 April 2008 in Brussels – Belgium. The objective of the meetings is to discuss the evaluation of the Charter implementation in the MEDA countries and the work programme of the working party on industrial cooperation for the years 2009-2010.
