Entrepreneurship Training Workshop PDF Print E-mail

Dear Entrepreneurs,

The Business Development Center (BDC) in cooperation with  EJADA for Economic Projects  Consulting,  is  pleased to invite you to participate in the 45th Entrepreneurship Training Workshop that will be held between the 9th and 14th  of  March 2013 from 9:00am-5:30pm at the Business Development Center.

The Entrepreneurship Training Workshop is an intensive program for identifying and expanding participants' potential to initiate or improve small businesses or other entrepreneurial activities. It is an opportunity for individuals to become more familiar with the behavioral competencies of successful entrepreneurs; to look for, recognize and "code" those behaviors in themselves and in others; to strengthen and enhance the behaviors they choose to work on through practice and reinforcement; and to finally apply these behaviors in their own businesses.

Innovative in approach, the Workshop has been called by David McClelland, the Harvard psychologist who helped launch the "entrepreneurial revolution", the most significant development in entrepreneurship training for almost two decades.

The Empretec Program strives to identify and reinforce these entrepreneurial traits through self-assessment, individual transformation and business simulation activities in the ETW. On the basis of written applications and business-focused interviews, approximately 25 participants enter the Program through the 6-day achievement motivation workshop which encourages the individuals to focus on their roles as entrepreneurs and challenges them to critically examine their personal strengths and weaknesses.

It should be noted that the facilitators are all business owners, trainers and consultants. They are all experienced and certified through a three year certification process by the UNCTAD.

Moreover, the program is based on “learning by doing” methodology instead of the routine lecture based alternative. There is no specific schedule for the workshop, however it is built according to the needs of the participants of each coming workshop.

The Business Development Center will provide two free seats according to the following selection criteria:

1.      Each nominee should fill in the Application form attached in this Email.
