On Sunday, the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Youth Projects Development Fund (Sharaka) in Oman.

The MoU aims to expand cooperation frameworks in supporting SME’s, particularly innovative ones, and to develop joint strategies that benefit entrepreneurs in both countries. It also seeks to establish economic activities that support the business environment for youth projects.

JEDCO’s Chief Executive Director, Mr. Abed Al-Fattah Al-Kayed, stated that the MoU, signed on the sidelines of the Rural Economic Enhancement Forum (REEF), is intended to strengthen cooperation between the two parties, especially in trade, and to exchange expertise related to MSM projects. also, to provide technical support and organize joint seminars, conferences, and meetings between the two countries.

In turn, the CEO of Sharaka, Ali Muqebel, noted that the MoU reflects both parties' commitment to achieving sustainable development goals, completing integration and partnership in economic development, advancing small and medium-sized projects, and improving the quality and efficiency of services provided to clients. This will be achieved through data exchange, reviewing best practices, and implementing joint initiatives and projects in both countries.
