Service Locations

The Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) including its regional offices in the Governorates of Jordan.

Eligibility requirements

  1. The company must be registered or have operations in Jordan
  2. The company must be in the service, industrial or agribusiness sector.
  3. The company must be at least two years old.
  4. The company must have a minimum of 5 employees registered at the Social Security Corporation.

Required Documents

  • A certificate of Company Registration from the Ministry of Trade and Industry
  • A Social Security statement
  • Financial statements for the last two years, including at least the following: statement of overall financial position, statement of income and expenses, cash flow statement, and a list of changes in equity (if applicable) along with clarifications as required.
  • Introductory information about the company, its products and its organizational structure. /

Application Process

Once the application and the required documents are evaluated, JEDCO will undertake the following tasks:

  1. Evaluate the supplier’s financial statements and eligibility.
  2. Conduct site visits to assess technical issues (e.g. production capacity), assess the quality and specifications of products, identify potential linkage opportunities, secure the necessary approvals of evaluation reports and explore the possibility of developing products that meet the needs of purchasing companies.
  3. Search for linkage opportunities through the National Linkages Project - Purchasing Companies.
  4. Hold coordination meetings between the supplying company and the purchasing company to clarify requirements and mechanisms for co-operation.
  5. Secure an approval from the supplying company regarding its linkage to the purchasing company.
  6. Notify the potential purchasing company and the supplying company of approvals related to conducting diagnostic studies and development plans, in addition to inviting the companies to agree and sign MOUs when necessary.
  7. Monitor the implementation of the development plan until the desired linkage is achieved.

Service duration

  • Preparation of the Development Plan: 3-6 months from the date of approval to commence the assessment.
  • Achieving the linkage: 6-12 months from the date of approval of commencement of the assessment.
