DAR AL OMRAN: A SUCCESSFUL JOURNEY OF DEVELOPMENT

Dar Al Omran’s journey with the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) began in 2012, when the company applied for a grant in order to grow and develop as a business. The company was supported by JEDCO in several ways, including product development and growth strategies.

Specializing in infrastructure, Dar Al Omran provides sustainable and environmentally-friendly solutions for the transportation of water and wastewater, and has worked on both small and large-scale projects across the region.

Dar Al Omran applied to the “Accelerate with JEDCO” program with a clear vision for the future. Through the program, the company was looking to develop specific capacities, which would require technical support.

JEDCO offered Dar Al Omran a masterclass that coached 17 senior company executives on how to upgrade the knowledge network within the community. Topics discussed in the seminars ranged from strategy and business development to an introduction to international markets, finance, human resources, innovation, and advanced Excel skills.

Dar Al Omran had previously worked with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and was looking for new possibilities, which it found with JEDCO,  mainly to internally upgrading its own staff in the areas of  BIM for infrastructure as well as green infrastructure. Thanks to the support offered by JEDCO and its donors, Dar Al Omran can continue in the pursuit of excellence in its field, utilizing the managerial and business training offered to continue its journey of growth.
